Why doesn’t whiskey leave rings like coffee?


What has coffee, whiskey and future coating technologies got in common? Annoying rings, or lackthereof.


One of the more bizarre pieces of research we’ve come across in recent years is the fantastic effort from researchers at Princeton University in the US who, along with the help of a photographer, investigated why coffee rings are rarely the domain of whiskey.
